Agency provides “hope, direction and support” for families living with autism

Children in Arkansas are diagnosed with autism later than any other state. And minority and rural children have less access to evidence-based services. Enter the Arkansas Autism Resource & Outreach Center which provides parental support, education and training, and outreach and advocacy.

The Center assists families with available services, connects them with others in the community with similar experiences to build emotional support, and provides help with school issues, Medicaid, and more. Donations allow children with autism to attend summer camps and after-school programs.

Join the AAROC for Zoo Day on May 6 to help raise autism awareness and promote acceptance.
