Recycled Bikes Benefit Children in Need During the Holidays

Recycling Bikes For Kids in Little Rock has given away 12,000 bicycles over eight years to children and adults in need throughout the state.

We at Regional Recycling were inspired by the good works the organization does and believed it was a unique way to recycle. Rather than haul bicycles off to a landfill, why not give to benefit others? This September, we hosted our second donation drive and were able to collect 90 fully operational bicycles.

This year, the organization plans to give away 800 bikes during the holiday season via partnerships with churches, charities and community groups.
