Fall, fiddles and folk music will fill the air at the Ozark Folk Festival in Eureka Springs, Nov. 6-10. Now in its 72nd year, the event is the country’s longest continuously running folk festival.
Sing along and tap your toes at the Barefoot Ball, where tickets are cheaper if you shuck your shoes. The music and merriment continue all weekend with performances by the Ozark Mountain Daredevils and Grammy Award winner Marty Stuart. There’s also a singer-songwriter competition, folk art fair, workshops and a parade.
Much of the festival costs nothing to attend, though some popular events require buying tickets.
