Last week, Rock Region METRO hosted a multi-modal transportation panel to discuss the future of public transit. Panelists included Art Guzzetti with American Public Transit Association, Bryan Day of Little Rock Port Authority and more.
“The more connected your community is and the more choice you have, the more attractive your community is to people from different backgrounds, including young talent, which is a hot topic here in Central Arkansas for economic development,” said Becca Green, Director of Public Engagement at RRM. “(Multi-modal transportation) contributes to the entire economy.”
Panelists discussed economic benefits and best plans for action.
