Hurricane Matthew recently caused major destruction throughout Florida and along the East Coast. Fortunately, Operation BBQ Relief (OBR) was there to help.
OBR provides meals to those affected by natural disasters throughout the country. Professionals around the U.S. assist the organization in various ways, from fundraising and PR work to serving as an on-site contact in case of emergency.
In wake of the hurricane, OBR deployed to Fayetteville, NC, on Oct. 10 to supply 75,000 meals to the surrounding areas. Arkansas is home to several OBR volunteers including our own Kathryn Heller and state lead Dewayne Daniel.
